Hi! My name is Dilan and I’m a co-founder of the Palos Verdes Tutoring Company. Some of my favorite classes are Language and Composition, US History, and Environmental Science. In school, I'm president of the Palos Verdes Photography Club, a member of the Spanish and English National Honors Societies, and I'm on the board of the Palos Verdes High School chapter of National Honors Society. I also founded the Humans of PVHS blog and I'm the News Director of Live From 205 for the 2016-17 school year. Outside of school, I enjoy creating videos for my film production company as well as taking pictures for my Instagram! When I'm not studying or making movies, you can find me frequenting Mexican restaurants trying to find the perfect burrito!

Hi! I'm Mira and I'm a senior at Palos Verdes High School. I have a GPA of 4.9 and am an AP Scholar with distinction. My favorite subject is math, particularly calculus, but I also enjoy biology, chemistry, and U.S. History. At school, I'm the editor-in-chief of the nationally recognized Triton Yearbook as well as the technology director for Open Orchard Productions. This summer, I led a technology camp for middle-schoolers and helped implement a robotics program at the Boys and Girls club! In my free time, I love to read, go to the beach, and hang out with friends!

Hi! I'm Piper and I'm a beachy brainiac. I'm a senior at PVHS with a 4.7 GPA and I am an AP Scholar. My strengths are Math, Chemistry, Biology, Neurology, and Anatomy! In school, I'm senior editor of Academics and Electives for the Triton Yearbook and I'm the president of SCRUBS club! Outside of school, I enjoy playing soccer and coaching a GU-03 Beach FC team. I love to skateboard, jet ski, and hang out at the beach! In the future, I hope to become a Neurosurgeon at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore!

Hey! My name is Allison King and I am a senior at Palos Verdes High School. I have challenged myself with a rigorous course load and it has paid off as I have maintained a 4.6 GPA and am an AP Scholar with Distinction. And akin to my other academic achievements, I earned a 33 on the ACT. I am the co-president of PV's GSA and the Editor in Chief of the award winning Triton Yearbook. I am also the Executive of Communications for the Speech and Debate team and recently won 2nd for a speech competition and 8th out of 60 debate participants in the West Bay Forensic League competitions. Outside of school I teach elementary school students in China English lessons every summer break for 3 weeks and have accumulated hundreds of hours of community service. I have played piano for 13 years and have won many awards such as the coveted Paderewski Medal. While I do sound like a studious senior, I will admit binging new (and very old) shows on Netflix is a not-so-guilty pleasure.

Hi, I’m Michael, and I’m currently a senior at Palos Verdes High School! As an AP Scholar, I have challenged myself by taking many honors and AP classes, earning a 4.7 GPA as well as admittance into English, Science, and Spanish national honors society! I’ve also played soccer at PVHS for three years, and I’m an editor for Live From 205. When I’m not hitting the books, I love to create short videos and film social events such as weddings. Being in affiliation with PVNet, the Esperanza Immigration Project, and Los Hermanos, I strive to serve my community. By balancing schoolwork with passions and activities, I’ve picked up the key to time management skills needed to succeed in high school.

My name is Isaiah Aly, co-founder at the Palos Verdes Tutoring Company! I've maintained 4.3 GPA, with a 34 on my ACT and 1470 on my SAT. Having a love for learning, I've challenged myself with numerous AP and Honors classes, earning the AP Scholar award my senior year. English is my favorite subject to tutor, but have also had awesome experiences with AP Environmental Science and Mathematics. At Palos Verdes High I participated in ASB as Senior Class President and Red Tide Captain, and as a member of Model United Nations. You can catch me on TV every Tuesday and Friday as a reporter on Live from 205, or in the gym where I practice volleyball. On weekends I enjoy reading in my backyard, swimming at the beach, or hanging out with my friends. I believe learning can be fun and interesting if done right, so I work to make students look forward to tutoring!

Hey! My name is Elizabeth Feldman and I'm a senior at Palos Verdes High School. I've maintained a 4.7 GPA, and was recently accepted to Princeton University. At school, I am President of the WISE club, Vice President of National French Honors Society, and am a member of the Science and English honors societies. My strengths are Algebra, Biology, and English, but I love it all! Outside of school, you can find me playing volleyball, hanging with friends, and eating lots of breakfast foods!

I was a part of the high school soccer team and was on the board of Model United Nations, National Honors Society, and Science National Honors Society. Aside from studying and volunteering with my Los Hermanos group, I spend my time hanging out with friends, chilling at the beach, or watching Netflix or movies (I’m a HUGE movies junkie!).

Hi! I’m Angela and I’m a senior at Palos Verdes High School. I have a 5.0 GPA and I am a National AP Scholar and National Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalist. My favorite subjects are English and History, but I also specialize in Chinese, Math, and Environmental Science. In school, I am the President and Founder of Speech and Debate, the Editor-in-Chief of our national award-winning yearbook, and Lead Attorney in Mock Trial. Outside of school, I volunteer with South Bay Chinese School where I help teach Chinese to children. I love working with students, and in my free time I enjoy going to coffee shops with my friends and watching slam poetry on Youtube!

Hola! I’m Sebastian and I am a senior at Palos Verdes High School. Throughout high school, I’ve maintained a 4.3 GPA while taking AP and honors classes, as well as being involved in ASB, Be the Change, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and a varsity athlete in basketball (captain), cross-country, and track. Consequently, I’ve learned to stay organized and time manage effectively. Outside of school, I coach PVBA and AYSO, as well as babysit! I am happy to help with advanced levels of Spanish, English, History, and all middle school subjects!

Hey! Brooke here! I've been on the Palos Verdes cheerleading squad for 4 years. I have also been apart of various charity groups, the most notable being National Charity League (NCL). Through this I have received 2 presidential awards and what is know as the "Yellow Rosebud Award" for over 75 hours in one year. Over the course of my high school career, I have contributed over 400 hours in my community while also managing to keep my academic performance at its highest! I am a member of the California Scholarship Foundation (CSF) for academic excellence. In my free time I love to paint, sketch, study, and binge watch entire Netflix shows in one sitting!

Hi! My name is Taiki Matsuda, and I am currently a senior at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School. I have maintained a 4.3 GPA and like to challenge myself with AP and Honors classes. I'm a part of The National Honors Society at Peninsula, the Science National Honors Society, and the Japanese Honors Society. I am also part of Peninsula's ASB with the title of Senior Class President. I spend my free time hanging out with friends, listening to music, and staying active. I also LOVE baseball! (Go GIANTS!)
