Hey Guys! I’m Spencer Levin, a Senior at PVHS. I have a 4.93 GPA and have taken all honors and AP classes except Spanish 2, Freshman year. I received a 35 superscore on my ACT, a 1520 on my SAT as well as a perfect 800 on the Math 2 subject test. At school, I’m president of Be The Change, Officer of Induction for NHS, and a Link Leader. I am also active on the PVHS soccer team and many honor societies such as Math, Spanish, and Science. Outside of school I volunteer at Community Helpline and work at Poke Rainbow. When I have free time I enjoy playing spikeball with my friends, eating a lot of food, and watching soccer.

Hey guys! I’m Richard Criley, a Senior at PVHS. I have a 4.93 GPA and have scored a perfect 36 on the ACT. I’m involved in several honor societies on campus, including NHS, NEHS, and SNHS. I play for the high school water polo team but I enjoy a basketball pickup game in my free time. Outside of school you can find me on the beach with a couple of friends, at the piano butchering Chopin, or in the kitchen preparing something delicious.

Hi! My name is Chiby Onyeador and I am a senior at PV high. I have a 4.9 weighted GPA with a 4.0 unweighted. I scored a 35 on my ACT and 800 on my SAT math level 2 subject test. My favorite subjects are Math, Physics, and Computer Science and I am able to tutor in those subjects to a high level. At school, I enjoy being a part of the science research program, PVIT, and various honor societies. Outside of school I am heavily involved in Boy Scouts and my church's pastoral council. In my free time I enjoy biking, hanging with friends, and watching basketball. I'm excited to work with you all!
Abbie Maemoto

Hi! My name is Abbie Maemoto and I am a senior at Palos Verdes High School. Over the past 4 years, I have maintained over a 4.9 GPA and have scored a 1580 on my SAT and an 800 on my Math 2 SAT Subject Test. I specialize in teaching math and science as I have exhausted the math curriculum and the majority of the science curriculum that the district has to offer. At school, I am the editor-in-chief of the Tradewinds Literary Magazine, the president of Science National Honors Society, and a captain of Varsity Swimming. Outside of school I enjoy doing cancer research, writing children’s books, and going on food adventures with my friends.

Hi! My name is Shay Desai and I’m a senior at PV High. I currently have a 4.9 weighted GPA and I am an AP Scholar with Distinction, having taken AP courses in all major departments at PV. I am currently enrolled in Advanced Multivariable Calculus and can tutor any level of math up to AP Calculus BC. Some of my other favorite subjects to tutor in are English, History, and Spanish. At school, I am part of the soccer program, a Link Crew leader, was selected as a Boys’ State delegate, and I am also the president of the Policies Behind Politics Club. Outside of school, I am politically active, having volunteered on two campaigns during my time in highschool as well as participating in independent research. I have coached my younger brother’s youth basketball and soccer teams on the hill, which has helped me learn how to work really well with kids. In my free time, I like to play Spikeball, hang out with friends, and play videogames.

I am an Editor in Chief of the Triton Yearbook, Link Crew Leader, CSF Historian, and PEF Ambassador. I also participate in Science Research and Science Olympiad. I’ve taken asynchronous classes at LA Harbor College, know how to succeed with online learning, and can teach students how to do the same. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and pets.

In school, I am President of Science National Honor Society, Secretary General of MUN, Editor-In-Chief of the Triton Yearbook, and Software Captain for the PVIT Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Team. My favorite subjects to tutor are Math, Science, and English as I'm currently enrolled in Multivariable Calculus and have enjoyed taking Calculus BC, Chemistry, and English Language and Composition most in the past. Outside of school, I am an avid Girl Scout (Gold Award recipient 2020) and enjoy scrolling through Pinterest, snacking on Savannah Smiles, and spending time with friends!

Hey! I’m Nicole and I am a Senior at PVHS. I have a 4.8/4.0 GPA and scored a 1500 on my SAT. My best subjects are Spanish and Math, and my favorite class this year is AP Spanish Literature. At school, I am the Novice Trainer for Model United Nations, Public Relations officer for Spanish NHS, Historian for CSF, and Co-President of my club Helping the Homeless. Outside of school, I do volunteer work with Press Friends. In my free time, I like to decorate my room, bike on the strand, and hang out with friends. I’m so excited to be a part of PV Tutors and to work with students!

Buenos Dias! I’m Koa Vetterlein and I am a senior at PV High. I have a 4.9 weighted GPA and a 4.0 unweighted GPA. I received a 33 on my ACT but unfortunately haven’t been able to improve due to the coronavirus. In school, I am involved in varsity soccer, ASB, PVIT, NHS, CSF, and other honors societies like science, math, Spanish, and English. I am currently taking Advanced multivariable calculus and AP physics C. I am proficient in math and Spanish and can also tutor in most sciences and English. Outside of school, I play even more soccer and work at community helpline. In my free time, I love watching anime, playing soccer, hanging out with friends, and looking at myself in the mirror.

Hello! My name is Williams Criley and I am a senior at Palos Verdes High School. I play water polo and am part of a club swim team as well. I am also a proud learner and educator.
