jake marshall

CAL POLY SAN LOUIS OBISPO

Hey, my name is Jake Marshall and I’m a senior at Palos Verdes High School. This year, I am challenging myself with multiple AP courses and more difficult classes to create the most beneficial future for myself. My favorite subjects are English, History, and Spanish. I play volleyball at school and have been challenged with time-management issues, so I can understand all of the people struggling with school and athletic conflicts. When I’m not playing sports, I enjoy surfing, being with my friends, participating in my Los Hermanos organization, and I’m a pretty avid sewer. I make my own clothing and I’m always doing projects and repairs for my friends. I worked at a surf camp this summer and interacted with a lot of awesome kids. While I taught them how to surf, they taught me a lot about myself and how much I enjoyed hanging out with them. For my senior year, I plan on advancing my great grades that I have consistently achieved. I hope I get the chance to work with you and put you on the right track that’s best for you, whatever that may be.
