Hello, I’m Mason Condello! I’m a senior at Palos Verdes High School, and I have a 4.9/4.0 GPA. I am happy to tutor in any subject, as I have 5s on AP exams such as Biology, English Language, PreCalculus, World History, and more. In addition to being an AP scholar with distinction, I am the President of the Science National Honor Society, Secretary General of Model UN, President of Mu Alpha Theta, President of PV Math Lab, President of the Philosophy Club, District Sustainability Board representative, and winner of the George Eastman Young Leaders Award. Outside of school I am the head coach of the Challenger Basketball Team and a cadet for the LaCo Junior Lifeguard program. Along with this, I am a published author and researcher in a cardiology lab where I read CT scans of patients with coronary artery calcium. In my free time I love surfing, skateboarding, cooking, and watching my favorite TV show, House M.D. I’m super excited to meet all of you!

Hey! My name is Jason Lee, and I’m currently a senior at Palos Verdes High School. I’ve taken various honors and AP courses, receiving a 5 on 5 AP tests and being an AP Scholar with Distinction, and I have maintained a 4.8 weighted GPA throughout my years in highschool. My favorite subjects are math, science, and English, but I would love to help with any other subjects as well. On campus, I hold various leadership positions including being a VP for Be The Change, the VP of membership for Science National Honor Society, and the editor-in-chief of Humans of PVHS. I have experience teaching through coaching youth basketball and mentoring volunteers at Torrance Memorial, and I find great satisfaction in watching the growth and development of students learn and improve. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, playing basketball, and finding undiscovered talents of mine.

Hey there! My name is Olivia and I am a senior at PV with a 4.9 weighted GPA and a 1540 SAT. I’ve earned the AP Capstone Diploma and am an AP Scholar with Distinction, scoring 4s and 5s on World History, Calculus, US History, Research, and more. I am happy to tutor in all subjects with a focus on math and English (especially writing) of any level. At school, I enjoy editing out the persistent usage of the Oxford comma in articles as an Editor-in-Chief for our school newspaper and playing clarinet at football games in the marching band. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling to Sacramento to speak with state legislators, conducting research on civic education, and leading a music service organization, PVMC, with my friend and fellow tutor Annalia. You might catch me listening to whatever band I’m currently into, watching a mix of cinematic masterpieces and questionable Netflix rom-coms, playing guitar with friends, or walking my dog Bixby on the cliffs!

Hi, my name is Eto Uchiyama! I’m a senior at Palos Verdes High School with a 4.8 weighted GPA. I’m recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction, with 5s on AP Environmental Science, AP Japanese, AP World History, and 4s on AP English Language and AP Art History. I also have two Seals of Biliteracy for my fluency in English, Japanese, and French. My favorite subjects are math and english, but I’m happy to tutor in any subject! At school, I’m on the board for MUN, a Design/Finance lead for our nationally ranked PVIT ROV robotics team, and the Commissioner of Arts in ASB. I’m a member of the Triton yearbook committee, French Honor Society, CSF, and I used to run Varsity Cross-Country/Track for two years. I have prior experience tutoring as independent work, as well as from taking care of my two younger siblings at home. In my free time, I like to read books, paint, travel, and spend time with friends and family.

Hey everyone! I’m Crystal Yang, a Palos Verdes High School senior with a 4.9/4.0 GPA and a 1540 SAT. I am happy to tutor in any academic subject area (especially math and computer science) as I have received 5s on 5 AP exams (Statistics, Calc BC, Computer Science A, Principles, and Chinese). In addition to being an AP Scholar with Distinction, I am Captain of the Cyberpatriots team, President of Mu Alpha Theta/math club, and Vice President of the Asian Culture Club. Outside of school, I coach a math club that I founded at my elementary school and work part-time at Mathnasium, which gives me experience in teaching kids of all ages and abilities, from addition/subtraction to Calculus. Additionally, I attended Stanford’s summer quarter, where I took CS106B, which acquainted me with C++ and advanced programming techniques such as data abstraction. Hey everyone! I’m Jenyne Ebreo, a senior at Palos Verdes High School. I have a 3.9/4.4 GPA. My favorite subjects include Chemistry, English and Psychology. In school I am heavily involved in numerous clubs and organizations such as NHS, NEHS, SNHS, CSF, Link Crew, Red Cross, PVOW, GSA and founded the Filipino Culture Club. In addition, I have been a part of the school’s award winning Triton Yearbook ever since freshman year and a proud member of the girl’s golf team. In and out of campus, I dedicate myself to volunteering and service organizations such as the Luna Peak Foundation, Red Cross, SEA and Urban Community Outreach. On weekends, I hang out with my friends at Yogurtland and the beach. If I’m not there, I’m most likely rewatching Modern Family or at Starbucks. Hi everyone! My name is Allison Yu and I’m a senior at Palos Verdes High School. I have a 4.95 GPA and I have gotten 5s on many AP tests including Chemistry, Calculus BC, APUSH, and Spanish Lang. At school, I am the Chief Information Officer for our PVIT ROV team (we recently placed 10th in the world!), I am a PEF Ambassador, and I love playing the violin in our school’s amazing musicals. Outside of school, I enjoy volunteering with South Bay Math Circle, dancing, traveling with my family, and getting Crumbl cookies. I can’t wait to meet you all!

Hi everyone! My name is Megan White and I’m a senior at Palos Verdes High School. I have taken many honors and AP classes, and have scored 4s and 5s on 7 AP tests (including US History, English Language, French Language, Precalculus, and more). In addition to being an AP Scholar with Distinction, I have also maintained an unweighted GPA of 4.0, and a weighted GPA of 4.9 throughout highschool. I enjoy many subjects, but I’m best at math, science, and English. I am also a member of ASB as well as the Varsity Song team, PVIT, MUN, and Science Research at PV High. In addition, I am also a participant in National Honor Society, CSF, and Vice President of French National Honors Society. Outside of Palos Verdes High School, I am involved in the National Charity League as well as the California YMCA Model Legislature and Court. My specialty subjects are Chemistry, Biology, and Math, as I have received 5’s in these subjects (AP Chemistry, Biology, and Precalculus). At school, I am co-president of Chess Club, VP of membership in Science National Honors Society, and Treasurer for Science Olympiad. Additionally, I am an active member of CSF, Math Honors Society, Science Research, Counselor Advisory Council, and more. Furthermore, I have tutoring experience from being involved in the Peer Tutor Math Program and teaching friends/other students in chemistry as well. My most passionate subjects are English, Mathematics, and Science (Chemistry and Biology). On campus, I’m involved in Science Olympiad (President), Science Research (YSEA Award), The Point, Science NHS (VP), NHS, NEHS, CSF, CAC, Be The Change (Treasurer), LINK, Asian Culture Club (President), CARE (President), LLS Club (President) and the Varsity Swim team. I regularly volunteer at Torrance Memorial Medical Center, Silver Spur Elementary Math Club, and as a PEF Student Ambassador. I also conducted research at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center using mouse models to find the neural circuits involved in obesity resistance. Hello! My name is Owen Jones and I am a senior attending Palos Verdes High School. I have maintained a 4.0 unweighted and 4.8 weighted GPA throughout high school. I have earned 5's on 4 AP tests, and I participate in activities around campus like FCA, CSF, and PVIT. I am the Electrical Lead for the FRC Team and play attack on the Varsity Lacrosse team. Over the years, my favorite subjects have grown to be math, physics, and engineering. These three are also my strong suits, especially Algebra and Electricity and Magnetism. Off campus, I participate in Challengers Basketball and work at lacrosse camps as a coach for young kids among many other things. My favorite superhero is Batman, and I love Ben and Jerry's Peanut Butter Fudge Core Ice Cream. I look forward to helping students in need of a little academic aid.

Outside of school, I volunteer through the National Charity League as well as for the Willenberg Special Education Center. Hello everyone! My name is Mattias Eberhart and I'm a Senior at Palos Verdes High School and have a 4.9/3.9 GPA. Throughout high school I’ve passed eight AP tests, recognizing me as an AP Scholar with Distinction. My strongest subjects are Math, Physics, Chemistry, and Spanish. I have a deep passion for teaching as I offer a unique approach to each subject, focussing on mastering the fundamentals while opening students to out of the box thinking. At school I’m a co-president of our VEX Robotics team, the president of our school’s Physics Club, a board member of Science National Honors Society, and more! Outside of school I’m the president of Student Environment Advocacy (SEA), a non-profit organization I co founded which aims to reinforce sustainable efforts in our local communities.
