Irene Kim

Hi everyone! My name is Irene Kim and I am a junior at Palos Verdes High School. I currently hold a 3.9 unweighted and a 4.8 weighted GPA. I’ve earned 4s on both the AP Chemistry and AP Physics 1 exams, and my strongest subjects are math, chemistry, and physics— specifically mechanics. On campus, I’m involved in the Triton Yearbook as an Editor, CSF, and Link Crew. I play on the girls lacrosse team, where I’ve served as JV team captain, and I also coach younger players at lacrosse camps throughout the year. In my free time, I love listening to music, playing video games with my friends, and collecting fun socks. I look forward to working with you!

Malek Shamonki

Hi everyone! My name is Malek Shamonki and I am starting my first full year at Palos Verdes High School as a junior. Prior to my arrival in PV, I grew up in the Pacific Palisades and relocated in January after the fires. While attending Palisades Charter High School, I was treasurer of the Tyler Robinson Foundation Club (TRF), as well as a member of the TARC Rocketry Club. I currently maintain a 3.9/4.7 GPA, and have so far scored a four on my AP World History exam and a five on my AP Chemistry exam. I enjoy all subjects, yet my favorite subjects are math, science, and English. Outside of school and academics, I enjoy learning new solos on my guitar as well as practicing MMA in my free time. I am so excited to meet you all!
